Paul Williams and Charli Lamont/Galw
The Anglesey based duo formed Galw in 2014. Galw’s relaxing original music continues to delight fans of all ages. Galw have just released their first 8 track album called ‘’The Voices Lure Me in.’’ This album was released in February 2016. It was recorded in Amlwch, North Wales by Steve Blackstone. Galw have been performing all over Wales in pubs, clubs and some small festivals.
Paul, the singer and songwriter of the duo started playing guitar at 14, listening to The Beatles, Oasis and David Bowie. Those influences mixed with his own lyrics and harmonies, with a mind for melodies led to songs like Caged Bird, Heno Ma and Other Kings Fell before Him, which are very popular with Galw's fans.
Charli started her singing as a backing singer for Kev Fox in 2010. In that time she toured all over Europe. Charli is inspired by Sam Smith, Kate Bush and Adel. Charli is a teacher in a preforming arts school.
